Inside the Accademia, everyone is having their "I-can't-believe-I'm-here" moment, Photos really don't do it justice - you need to go there to see him in person to appreciate the scale and beauty of this marvel. I read somewhere that this museum is the most visited museum in the world!

I bet you didn't know that he is David from David & Goliath - and he actually is holding a rock and has a leather sling on him!!
These polkadot like markings are not mistakes or pranks.
They are measuring dots that sculptors used to measure scale.
